Automatic Door Systems – Sliding Doors |

|
Sliding doors are the mainstay of the automatic door industry and have been installed in all types of healthcare, industrial, commercial and retail environments to save significantly on heat emissions and to provide a high specification environment for customers. Sliding doors consist of one or more fixed panels and one or two moving leaves. It is also possible to have a telescopic door made up of two or four half-leaves where the overall width of the doorframe does not allow a standard configuration. Sliding doors usually have microwave motion and presence sensors to open the door as pedestrians approach and to maintain pedestrian safety while the doors are in motion. All our sliding doors are installed to the highest standards of workmanship and all safety devices comply with the BS 7036 standards for automatic doors. Owner/occupiers have ongoing duties of care in relation to maintenance and safety checks. Click here to see more details on owner/occupier liabilities.
